Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be followed by the applicants who wish to be a part of Chinese Government Scholarship 2018-19:

1)The candidate must not have Chinese nationality and not currently enrolled in any educational institute in China.
2)The candidate must have completed Bachelors in order to apply for Masters Degree and age should not exceed 35 years.
3)The candidate must have completed Masters in order to apply for Ph.D. or Doctoral Degree in relevant field and age should not exceed 40 years.

Importance of Chinese Government Scholarship

CGS is a fully funded scholarship provided to students in China. This Chinese Scholarship for International Students will facilitate them by providing following financial support:

1)Registration Fee of the applicant
2)Tuition Fee
3)Accommodation cost
4)Living Stipend
5)Medical Fee Service
6)Medical Insurance will also be supported by Chinese Government
7)A Stipend by Chinese Government Scholarship

The amount of the Living Stipend that will be supported by the host university/institution is given below:

Master Students
CNY 3,000 Yuan (Nearly 57742 PKR)
Doctoral Students
3,500 Yuan (Nearly 67360 PKR)

Application Requirements

The following procedure must be followed by the applicants to fill the application forms:

1)Print two application forms of Chinese Government Scholarship at http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login a
2)a transcript signed by the authenticated person & Diploma of the most recent study
3)Acceptance letter of potential supervisor.
4)Recommendation or consultation letters (2)
5)The future plan or research plan of the applicant in relevant field
6)Any research work published before
7)Authenticated Passport’s Photocopy
8)Clearance Certificate from previous organization
9)Language Fluency Certificate(English or Chinese)
10)Passport Size photos(2)

Important Note:

The following points must be taken into consideration:
1)Incomplete, faxed or digital documents will not be expected or facilitated.
2)The above documents of the candidates will not be returned in any case.
3)The students who have recently completed Bachelors or equivalent have to the authenticity of graduation. The recent graduates who are admitted must bring a notarized certificate of the most recent study when coming for registration at NWAFU.
