ACU Summer School in Mauritius is now open for desired candidates .It is the time to fill your application forms. This event will start from 14 July to 21 July 2019. ACU Summer School will facilitate the nominated candidates by supporting them on financial basis.
ACU (Association for Commonwealth Universities) declares that the upcoming ACU Summer School will occur in University of Mauritius for in July 2019(14-21). Apply to be a part of this Association to gain immense knowledge and expertise from dominant scholars, global speakers, public gatherings, training programs and stimulating community projects, assignments and tasks. and work.
Through this platform the undergraduates and postgraduates (Master’s and PhD.) students will be able to pay visits to hospital and research laboratories in Mauritius, collectively work on community based projects, will inform participating fellows about problems in health sector presiding in their belonging country and in the end will learn about Mauritian norms, values and culture.

Goals and Objectives:
“Public Health: from a Small Island State to the Global Community” is the basic topic of observation in ACU Summer School 2019.The following topics of general public health will be covered through this program:
- Training &Instruction, recognition, avoidance, prohibition, minimization and handling of acute as well as chronic disease together with the application of society betterment methods.
- Performing research in the field of health and medicine.
- Introduction of modern technologies and methods in health which includes e-health and big data.
- Health strategies, procedures, finances, and awareness to general community.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduate i.e. Masters & PhD. students and undergraduates that are in the last year of degree enrolled in ACU member as well as non-member universities are invited to apply.
- The program incorporates several fields i.e. students related to medical field and those related to different subjects can avail this opportunity.
- Candidates that have been a part of ACU Summer School before are restricted to apply.
Benefits/Profits:
ACU Summer School 2019 will provide following financial aids to the candidates:
- Flight fare from candidate’s country.
- Entire finance during involvement in ACU Summer School.
- Free field tours.
- Lodging in hotels.
- Food and airport pick-up facilities.
- Candidate’s finances related to visas and health insurance will not be facilitated.
It is a fully funded opportunity for students and will facilitate short-listed candidates that fulfills the below mentioned conditions:
- Candidates enrolled in ACU member institutions.
- If you are not able to be a part of ACU Summer School because of monetary basis.
- Candidates that never had the chance of travelling out of their country in past.

In case of not being selected on merit basis(fully funded),candidates can also apply for ACU Summer School 2019 on private basis.
